Euro 2020 in 2021 and me

Firstly id like to say hello and I hope you are all keeping safe. This is my first article ever and its only been about ten years in the making. I have always wanted to do something like this and have finally started. Is there anything you have ever just wanted to do? Don't be that person just go do it now or start it I dare you, you never know.

I'm a life long Chelsea fan from the age of 8 years old 22years ago FLIP! I have a lovely wife and two beautiful boys under two years old. When it comes to national teams I must say I get around a bit. My top two teams would be Portugal and France. Then I am a fan of good soccer on display don’t get me wrong my two teams come first then the rest.

Lets talk a bit about national soccer with the Euros being euro2020 a year later what the heck. So we went a couple of months with no sports at all and some are still not in full swing in some countries. I for one am glad soccer is back baby!

I think we can all remember the first game BVB Vs Schalke 04 I was in my house with a beer....can you believe it? The bottle stores had just opened again and the soccer was on. Life seemed great and back to a weird normal anyway lets talk Euros.

When you think of this tournament I think firstly of the two teams with the biggest points to prove being the Dutch and Italy those two soccer teams not being in a tournament like this for a while. They are highly rated so far but now Italy are only left and I think Mancini is doing a great job with his team. As for the Dutch I really like there players so I was sad when they were sent home. Will England bring it home lol or can Spain not look so plain.

My Portugal team came through as a ‘good’ third placed team which I wasn’t to worried about till we lost and were sent home as defending champions I at least expected one more round to be honest.

Jorginho is taking Italy forward with a lot of of the ball work that we all don’t notice but along with Ciro and Chiesa I think if they make it pass Belgium who I am now shouting for as my team they could win it. In my eyes who ever wins the game between Belgium and Italy I think will win the whole thing and beat England in the final. There we go I said it now you can all stop watching and thank me.

Lets just mention one more so we don’t forget them . With regards to the Cech the coach Jaroslav Šilhavý him and his young stars are playing with nothing to loose. Come on you boys!

So here's to hoping that this weekend is full of goals an good games, good luck to everyone and the teams still out there. Everyone please stay safe
